At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees it is boiling. Boiling water produces steam which can power a locomotive. That is all produced in that 1 degree.
How many of us go through life at 211 degrees rather than doing our best and breaking through to 212?
This short video gives some great insight into this truth--click here to watch.

Very cool, Jim. Liked the quotes at the end, particularly this one; "The only thing that stands between a person and what they want in life is the will to try it and the faith to believe it is possible."
Thanks for that.
My pleasure Ricky!
Thanks for checking in!
Cool, video.. makes one think. How many times have we missed the mark because we were shy just one degree of effort. Such a minute amount of extra effort for who knows what the end result could have been. Thanks Jim.

So true Robert! I oftentimes think about the story of the guy who bought a gold mine and after years of fruitless digging, sold it for next to nothing. The new owner then took one swing of his pick and hit a huge vein of gold.
Although life is not about money, I think this is a good metaphor.
Have a great day!
Very cool. Love the indy 200, golf, and track stats. Very applicable. It definitely gets me thinking about effort and perseverance. The difference one more little push can make. I've seen the video before, but I forgot the message in the business of everyday life. It was very nice to be reminded.
